Von ormy—Residents of Savannah Heights subdivision on the Atascosa/Bexar County line met on December 14 to discuss possible incorporation.
A Committee to Incorporate Savannah Heights was organized and has held three meetings on the issue of forming a new city. At the most recent meeting a show of hands revealed 53 in favor, none opposed and 5 wanting more information.
The population of the area allows the formation of a 4 square mile city.
The proposed city is tentatively named Savannah, Texas. Petitions are being circulated to begin the process.
