SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE PLAYING HOME GAMES IN VON ORMY!

     The San Antonio College baseball team will be playing their home games in Von Ormy at the Central Catholic Baseball Field by the Toyota Dealership located at Loop 410 and IH 35 South.
     Head Baseball Coach Mark Ruiz held tryouts Friday, June 21. Local players at the tryout included a couple from Somerset and one from Southwest. Brett Wilson Jr., Justin Camarillo were there from Somerset, and JJ Salinas from Southwest attended the tryout.
     A couple more tryouts will be held over the coming months in preparation of the upcoming season.  High School graduates interested in playing college baseball for SAC please email me at brettwilson3333@yahoo.com and I will keep you updated on future practices and tryouts. Coach Ruiz is also an Associate Scout for the Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Team.

Tampa Bay Rays Holding Tryout Camp

     The Tampa Bay Rays Professional Baseball Team will be holding a Camp at P.S.J.A. High School, 805 Ridge Road, San Juan Texas on July 1, 2013. San Juan is located in south Texas next to McAllan.
     Registration is at 9:15 am, Camp begins at 10:00 am. Players from 16 to 25 are invited to attend.      Please bring your own equipment (glove, shoes, water, catchers gear). Family and friends are welcome to watch from the stands.
     The Baseball Camp is being directed by Scouting Supervisor Pat Murphy, and Associate Scout Marcos Tovar Jr.
     There are no fees for the camp. Tryouts are free.
